SibsGroup - Support group for Siblings

Mission

To provide peer support, information opportunities, and socialization for brothers and sisters of youth with mental health disabilities.

To increase parent's and providers' understanding of sibling issues.

Who attends SibGroup

Siblings of youth with serious emotional, behavioral and mental health concerns. Siblings should be between the ages of 13 - 18.

Benefits

Siblings will benefit from meeting other peers in a relaxed environment, and having the opportunity to discuss common joys and concerns. They will also have the opportunity to combine with other youth groups, and participate in recreational events and other fun activities.

SibGroup meets every other month, 6-8pm, at Grace United Methodist Church at 737 E Woodlawn Road, Charlotte. (get directions here) Dinner is provided.
