ParentVOICE's vision is that all children and youth with emotional, behavioral and/or mental health challenges and their families/caregivers receive quality services, solutions, and flexible resources to promote successful futures.

ParentVOICE's mission is to provide information, support, and opportunties that strengthen and inspire youth with mental health challenges, and their famlies/caregivers, to learn, lead, participate and advocate for quality services and successful outcomes.

ParentVOICE is an independent, grassroots organization dedicated to empowering you to be a strong voice in the life of your child.

We provide social and emotional support to parents, families, and caregivers raising youth with severe emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns, such as:

    · Anxiety Disorder
    · Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity, or ADHD
    · Bipolar Disorder
    · Conduct Disorder
    · Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
    · Oppositional Defiant Disorder
    · Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
    · Reactive Attachment Disorder
    · And other emotional/behavioral challenges

Most of our staff has first hand experience with children that have mental health concerns.

Child and Family Team meeting.

How can ParentVOICE help?

  • ParentVOICE can help you develop skills and knowledge to access the resources YOU need to meet the needs of YOUR child.

  • ParentVOICE can assist you in advocating for your child and knowing your rights within the education and mental health systems, and assure that your child's individual needs are respected and met.

  • ParentVOICE staff can help you prepare for your Child and Family Team, IEP, and other related meetings; and if requested a ParentVOICE Family Support Specialist can accompany you to the meeting.

  • ParentVOICE provides support and educational groups for parents, caregivers, grandparents, and youth.

  • As a partner with MeckCARES our local family driven System of Care (SOC), we can help you learn more about services and support offered.

  • ParentVOICE can help you get involved in local committees, boards and agencies that are mandated to serve teh needs of youth.

  • Training is available for parents and caregivers to become advocates not only for their children, but for others as well.
