Empowerment Group

What is the ParentVOICE Empowerment Group?

The Empowerment Group is a monthly support group for parents and caregivers of youth, ages 10 - 21, with emotional, behavioral and mental health concerns. The Empowerment Group provides a friendly and informal setting were we can share our struggles, successes and have some fun. This is a great place to meet other parents that face many of the same challenges raising their youth.

The Empowerment group keeps ParentVOICE up to date on family concerns and that in turn helps ParentVOICE plan future workshops, trainings, activities and resources for families.

The Empowerment Group meets from 6pm - 8pm on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Grace United Methodist Church 737 E. Woodlawn Road, Charlotte (get directions here).
